Your car exhaust and muffler systems

Your car exhaust and muffler systems

Exhaust System

Two frequently ignored, but important parts of the mechanical system is the exhaust of vehicles and exhaust systems. These two systems work together to help drive the machine with maximum efficiency and performance. The exhaust system is an integrated system that created the fumes from the engine and takes them through the back door of the vehicle. Typically, an exhaust system, some of the following systems:

A silencer 1
2 A catalyst
A turbocharger 3
A 4 cylinderHead / exhaust manifold

The collector collects the exhaust gases from two or more cylinders and puts them in a tube. The many challenges due to high temperatures, so are often made of cast iron.
The header came back a portion of a drainage system that extends from the rear cylinder head. It includes the socket for the exhaust header, the fresh air. This, like the back of the turbo, is an optional element that is put in to improve the performance of a vehicle. TheTurbo-back is the part of the exhaust gas, the shape of the intake air to the turbocharger, the open end extends.

The catalyst helps to reduce vehicle exhaust emissions. In general, most cars will come with this, but if the car is for a room with no limits exhaust products, so the converter can not be installed as a result.

Before coming to the tube, you get to the muffler. This is an important part of the exhaust system andnever think. Since shooting out the exhaust of the exhaust system at high pressure, generates a lot of noise. The muffler reduces exhaust system back pressure, while at the same time, improve engine efficiency, engine performance, the car's performance, including reducing the wear of engine components. The most important aspect of the muffler, reducing noise it creates.

Once we reach the very back of the exhaust system, we arrive at the tailpipe. TheTailpipe, where does all the exhaust gases. Depending on the condition of the engine, exhaust out of white, gray or black. If it turns black, then usually there is a problem with the engine and should be set in motion.

The beauty and the exhaust muffler is that if something goes wrong, it's not too difficult to solve, above all never far away from the engine. If your muffler falls, you need a new one if it develops a hole, you mustobtain the patch. Fortunately, all this in any laboratory can be conducted in Los Angeles, as the repair of exhaust systems usually pretty easy to do.

The next time you play a disc, not the important part of the exhaust system and muffler drive for your car and forget about the environment around you.

Kitchen exhaust fans

Kitchen exhaust fans

Exhaust System

Vacuum cleaners kitchen is one of my animals are notoriously inefficient because it annoyed - if they work at all. It was the first time fans have kitchens, and the chef is expected that with the heat and humidity in the kitchen (maybe that's why so few people to cook at home then) suffer.

Fortunately, the kitchen fans gradually became popular kitchen is still not complete until a fan is installed. Here are the main types of fans that are popularToday:

Recirculation Fans

In my opinion this is a good excuse for a cooker hood, why not run out of anything. This system only the fan sucks air from above or around the stove, it takes a while ', of course, filter, and breathe the same air right into the humid room. None of the smell of food or moisture is trapped by the filter and the filter even if you can develop a coating of grease residue, I doubt that filters almost nothing.

I knowThere are situations in the reconstruction, where it is almost mandatory to use a recirculation fan, but too often a contractor is only doing it for cost savings. So, if your kitchen is renovated - One can say to your contractor to leave, may return only a fan, this is rarely the case.

Downdraft Hood

Once I built a kitchen with oven and top plate side by side on an island grid installed at the center of the kitchen. The kitchen had abeautiful natural open beam ceiling finished, so I did not want to install a drainage system leading to the center of the kitchen.

Big mistake! I had two commercial exhaust systems designed and installed upside down - one for cooking and one for the pan. They moved a large amount of air, but never completely pulled out all the moisture and cooking fumes - though often sucked the flames from the burner gas hob. Furthermore, since the internal fans have been tradingable, they did a terrible roar, when set up. Of course I will not even mention the cost.

I know a lot of chefs are happy with their systems are upset with a lot of cooking, but I'm not one of them.

Hood hood over my head

Because it increases heat, the hood over my head is the best choice for the kitchen exhaust fans. Of course, this is the exhaust fan is discharged to the outside. External ventilation is necessary because you need to extract all the fumes and cookingThe humidity of the kitchen - just like most of the heat the ambient air.

These fans are more expensive than the recirculating systems, but if you cook a lot, worth the extra cost. And if your builder or contractor remodeling tells you that you can not install an exterior ventilation system overhead extractor hood - find another employer.

Vacuum cleaners kitchen are all too often only a "final thought" when designing a kitchen. I'm actually one of the most importanta kitchen and the same attention should be programmed as everything else in your kitchen.
